Waukesha water utility approves deal with Milwaukee startup H2Oscore

Milwaukee startup H2Oscore has struck a deal with the city of Waukesha to implement its software that lets homeowners track their water usage and earn credits for conserving water that can be redeemed for discounts at area restaurants and other businesses.

The company rolled out its software with pilot programs in Milwaukee and Whitewater, but Waukesha is its first contract, said McGee Young, an H2Oscore founder and a Marquette University associate professor of political science.
