Vacant Waukesha Kmart to get $13M redevelopment with city help

A long-vacant Kmart store on East Sunset Drive in Waukesha could get a $13 million renovation, with city support, for new tenants that could include an Xperience Fitness gym.

Also this week, the P.H. Dye House building in the 3rd Ward lines up two new tenants, including The Burke Foundation.

Milwaukee-based Endeavor Corp. is the developer of the Waukesha project. The vacant Kmart is at 120 E. Sunset Drive in an area that 20 years ago was a main shopping hub in Waukesha. That has changed, as noâ;€¦;
