USW: Caterpillar's South Milwaukee workers won't strike

United Steelworkers Local 1343 has taken a neutral position on the proposed six-year labor contract that 803 members at Caterpillar Inc.â;€™s South Milwaukee plant will vote on Tuesday.

If the union votes the contract down, it will not strike, said Ross Winklbauer, a local USW sub-district director in West Allis.
