Milwaukee biodiesel firm pursues city-owned warehouse

A Milwaukee Common Council proposal would sell a warehouse and vacant lot on West National Avenue to Palko Energies LLC, a sustainable energy consulting company that also buys local restaurantsâ;€™ used cooking oil for conversion into biodiesel that it sells locally.

A resolution was introduced this week that, if approved, would authorize a purchase and sale agreement with Palko for the city-owned properties at 1034-1038 W. National Ave. The purchase price is $55,001, according to city documents.
