Wisconsin unemployment rate dips to 7.6% in March
WisconsinÃ¢;Â€Â™s seasonally unadjusted unemployment rate was 7.6 percent last month, a decrease from FebruaryÃ¢;Â€Â™s 8.2 percent and slightly lower than the March 2012 rate.
Wisconsin in March had both more people in the work force than in March 2012, and 7,000 more people working, according to preliminary data released Thursday by the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development. There were 2.8 million people employed in March.
