Senate passes bill to ease air travel troubles

The Senate passed a bill Thursday night that could ease travel delays around the nation caused by the furlough of air-traffic controllers, which has hit hard at airports like O’Hare International in Chicago.

If the House passes the measure Friday, the Federal Aviation Administration would be able to move $253 million from other areas of its budget to end the furloughs and re-open closed air-traffic control towers around the nation, The Wall Street Journal reports.
