Milwaukee first U.S. city to adopt global model for boosting startups

Milwaukee will be the first city in the U.S. to develop an entrepreneurship program using a Boston professorâ;€™s model that has helped boost entrepreneurial â;€Âoe;ecosystemsâ;€Â; in cities in Colombia, Brazil, Denmark and other countries.

Daniel Isenberg, a professor of entrepreneurship practice at Babson Global, a wholly owned nonprofit subsidiary of Babson College in Wellesley, Mass., will bring his model to Milwaukee and work with a broad coalition to develop an actionable blueprint for the city toâ;€¦;
