FIS sees net income drop, revenue grow in Q2

Fidelity National Information Services Inc., the financial technology company that bought Brown Deer-based Metavante Technologies Inc. in 2009, reported Tuesday that its second-quarter earnings dropped, even though revenue increased.

Revenue for the quarter was $1.51 billion up 3.8 from a year ago. Net income dropped to $91 million, or 31 cents per share, down from $156 million, or 52 cents per share, a year ago.
