During this popular seminar, Mark Winter, Vice President and Principal of Grubb & Ellis|Oakbrook Commercial Real Estate, Inc. will provide us with valuable information on the commercial real estate market in the greater Madison area. Mark has 26 years of experience in the commercial real estate business specializing in investment sales, acquisition, development, and tenant/landlord representation. Mark is responsible for overseeing the commercial management and leasing of Grubb & Ellis|Oakbrook’s office and industrial portfolio, which includes 42 buildings and 1,490,000 square feet of space. Mark has been involved in brokerage transactions over his career that total in excess of $400 million. He has been on development teams responsible for developing in excess of 500,000 square feet of office space. Mark has been a guest lecturer on commercial real estate topics to area business executives and at the Wisconsin School of Business.

Mark will share results from the 2008 Grubb & Ellis|Oakbrook survey including an overview of current Madison area office, warehouse, light industrial and retail space markets, along with insight on where these markets are headed. In addition, Mark will promote discussion on current trends and the state of the market for area retail space.
