Building Your Coaching Culture - Developing a Talent Base for Tomorrow
Speaker(s): Bob Unke, Senior Instructor/Development Specialist at MRA
We expect a lot from our employees, and engaged employees truly want to help our businesses succeed. So, what's stopping them? Often it's an issue of structure and communication. Employees often see managers as an authority figure - judgmental, unapproachable, and frankly a bit scary. Successful organizations change that by positioning their managers as coaches to their team members. Creating this corporate coaching culture encourages managers to have open communication with and mutual respect for their employees. Things are no longer scary, and employees look to their "coach" for advice on how to succeed. It puts a focus on professional growth, which benefits both the company and the employee.
Join us for this podcast, where Bob Unke, Senior Instructor/Development Specialist at MRA, will explore this topic and help you successfully implement the coaching culture at your company. Bob will specifically cover:
- the elements of coaching
- employee engagement drivers
- common coaching issues
- practical solutions
- how to get started
