Harvard Corp. is one of 264 Wisconsin companies that contracted for help from the Wisconsin Manufacturing Extension Partnership during the 2010 fiscal year, which ended June 30. The private, nonprofit consulting group says its services helped create at least 337 jobs and keep another 636 jobs in the state's factories, according to survey responses from 206 of those companies.
In the eight-county Madison area, manufacturers reported a total of 69 new jobs and 98 retained jobs as a result of WMEP's advice and efforts.
